Our professional fine art appraisal services are available for your insurance, business or personal needs. We will only provide appraisals for artwork that falls within our area of expertise; in the event we are unable to appraise your artwork we will recommend another reliable, professional service to assist you.
Your appraisal will take the form of a signed letter from Gainsborough Galleries listing your artwork, any pertinent details, and current market replacement values. Two copies will be provided – one for your records, and another for your insurance provider. Our appraisal fees are $35 for the first piece of artwork, followed by $10 for each additional piece appraised.
We do not usually need to see your artwork in person to be able to appraise it. But we will require the following information on each piece you would like appraised:
