Jocelyne was born in Montreal in 1947. She is a self taught artist having taken art history in College, having a special admiration for Matisse.
in 1995, in addition to her production paintings on canvas she developed a unique interpretation of paintings on pottery, in the form of a piggy-bank. This new form was immediately successful. More than 1600 of these creations have been created. She received an honor from the National Art Board in 1992 for her remarkable works.
