About Barak Rozenvain

Born to a family of artists, Barak fondly recalls his early experiments with painting. Growing up in this artistic environment, the artist observed his parents work spending numerous hours in the studio everyday. Thoughtout his childhood he regularly accompanied his parents to shows and galleries and visited dozens of Museums around Europe and North America. Barak was always drawn towards the pop-art icons and abstract masters of the 20th century. Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko provide a major inspiration for his work. Abandoning the traditional paint brush allows the artist to focus exclusively on the rhythm and fluidity of the colours and emphasize their richness and radiance. In his paintings, the artist attempts to incorporate these inspirations by harmonizing textures, colors and shapes to create a modern and decorative art form.
